Aristos Doxiadis is an economist and venture capital professional, pioneer of the private equity industry, based in Athens. He is now a General Partner at Openfund. He has also been a start-up entrepreneur, has managed consulting and auditing companies, worked on anti-poverty programs for the European Commission, and planned industrial policy for the Greek government. He has degrees in Social Studies (Harvard University) and Economics (University of London). He researches and writes on the Greek economy, and especially on the institutional aspects of the crisis.
On the eve of the elections (19th September), Aristos Doxiadis spoke at the Monthly Barometer Gathering, in a very condensed format, called Speed Ideas: Ten Tips in Ten Minutes.
